Jason,

There is not a download function from the SnS interface itself but all

of the Video content is located here:

http://showNshare.company.com/showNshare/

The following directories are here so you can browse

for the video that you are looking for.

flash/

h264/

windows/

And then simply download the ones that you want.

If this answers your question, Please take time to mark this

discussion answered & rate the response.

Thank You!

tomas,

Are you sure this is working?

I am getting 404 not found messages when i try this.

Thanks,

Erik

My mistake.

The answer is it depends.

You need to see where your administrator configured the

hosting location for your Show and Share.

* You maybe using a REMOTE Hosting location

* You maybe using the SnS itself.

If you open you Browser activity window, you can see the location of

the requested ShowAndShare video.

You can download the Video Content files IF the files are hosted

on a REMOTE Web Server that lets you browse the directories or

you know the SPECIFIC URL reference.  This will be displayed

in the BROWSER ACTIVITY WINDOW.

If you are using the SnS as the Hosting location, there is an

restriction of downloading the specific content file.

This is an area we are currently investigating. As of today, the video file can be

linked via the “Files” tab. When the video is uploaded into Show and Share,

simply select “add related content” and upload your video file in there.

When you add videos (or any related file for that matter), you can upload it into

the Show and Share web server, or simply register the URL of that video

stored elsewhere. When the viewer clicks the “Files” tab, they can

download the video (or documents, images)

The problem you have with this is everyone would have to do this extra step

which won't happen unless it is policy.

So, the workaround is to store content on an accessible remote hosting

site.

Sorry for the confusion.
