ONCE THIS IS DONE, THE CSS ON THE PHONE ITSELF WILL CHANGE FROM INTERNAL TO MOBILE.. THIS IS THE PHONE ITSELF.

USER WANTS THE PROFILE TO BE DIFFERNT FROM THE PHONE CONFIG..IS THIS POSSIBLE?

Sure possible,

You can use the profile with a different extension number

or simply let the profile 8888 and change the phone extension to *8888 and have your needed conf on both

they want to keep the same 8888 dn on both

Hi Celso,

you can make the device profile the main extension for your users 8888

And forward 8888 unregistered and no answer to *8888 to let the user always reachable also when he logout

using the same extension on both the phone and device profile will face you an issue later that i couldn't remember

So best practice to use different extensions
