FAX problem with ATA

PC has faxwin client installed to send the fax from thr PC. Now since we deployed CCM in the system, PC only can fax 1 page for the long distance. The scenario is: winfax card connects to ATA , GW is 3661 with PRI. We also have a fax machiene connecting to a different ATA which works fine. So far I leave all the fax configuration default on both GW and ATA. Any suggestion?

A lot of the fax machine issues we have seen relate to whether you are using Fax mode on the ATA or Fax Passthrough. Fax mode is the simplest, and merely uses G.711 to handle the fax call. In most cases, disabling FAX relay and modem passthrough on the PSTN gateway allows this to work ok. Or alternatively you can configure Fax passhthrough on both the ATA and the PSTN gateway at the global or dial peer level. A bit more info on your config would help diagnose the problem a bit further.
