Hello,
I'm trying configure the fax transmission in my network , but up to now no success.
This is my scenario:
I have a 26XX like GW connected to PSTN by a E1 ISDN PRI; on the other side I have an AS5300. I'm using the Internet like WAN connection . I've trying several fax protocol, fax rate etc...in my best result , I can transmit, but in the confirmation I get a error message. Can anybody inform me which the best fax protocol to use in the Internet environment???.
thank in advance,
Luiz

Make sure also that you are running IOS that will allow T.38,Fax relay or pass through. 12.2.T train is up to 12.2T13 and supports all of those on a 26xx GW.

Problem solved!!
Thanks everyone who sent me suggestions.
Truly, my problem wasn't in the IP leg but in the connection to PSTN . I had a big rate of SLIP error in the E1 controller . I changed the clock source to line and the SLIP error stopped. The fax transmission is working properly now.
thanks again,
Luiz
