Hello,
I've used a PRI successfully to do DID routing to a fax server from a VG, but not I'm sure of the hardware needs when terminating to a 4-port analog DID card in the fax server. Whats used on the gateway side? Examples? thanks!

not sure if your using
mgcp or h323?
check if your version of CM supports the card in either h323 or mgcp?
fax relay or passthrough?
digital or analog fax server?
if analog, groundstart or loopstart to the fax svr?
assuming pstn--pri(gw)fxs---analog faxsvr
Anyways, If possible, I would prefer mgcp with passthrough.

Yes, your assumptions are correct, mgcp w/passthrough. The issue is with using FXS ports on the gateway to connect to DID analog ports in the fax server, and how this can be accomplished and still pass DID info over FXS ports - of course FXS wants a single phone number, not a route pattern. It's easy to get a call to go out that port - just dial the number. However, I want to send a range of DID to the analog DID ports in the fax server. Ideas?

Not sure but can you you setup your fxs fax numbers to point (cfall) to a hunt group/list pilot or RG/RL pilot number. This pilot number points to fax server? You may have to setup the P/CSS appropriately for this.
