Fax transmission error

Background: ATA 188 and ICS 7750 with CCM 3.32. MRP300 (one T1 port)

Occationally we'll have Tx function not complete error on the fax machine when sending fax out.

Anybody has this experience?

Hi,

We had similar problem - but we have E1 on a MRP-200, and CCM 3.2.

Anyway, we always suspected an ATA issue because we had some ATA problems in the past.

Our symptom was that the customer experienced a disconnect after transmitting about 3 pages (more infos on the paper -> earlier disconnect).

In the end it turned out that the problem was with the IOS in the MRP.

-> Use the newest IOS available for the MRP.

-> Open a TAC Case.

-> use ATA SW >= 2.15

My version is 2.15 with SCCP, and MRP version is quite latest. Do you know you use passthrhough mode or Fax mode in ATA? Mine ATA is setup as FAX mode. Would you mind paste FAX related configuration of your MRP here?I want to see whether yours is FAX passthrough or just fax mode.

I'm having the same issue with ATA 186, CCM 3.2.3 using gateways 1751 with VIC-FXO to the PSTN.

How could you solved the problem?
