Unity with Domino server

We have a situation where the customer has Lotus Notes server at site no. 1 with a 45 mbs wan connection to another office, site no. 2, that has Callmanager running.

Please note that the ip telephony is only for site 2.

We would like to know:

1. If it is ok to run Unity at site no. 2 and communicate with Domino over the 45mbs wan?

2. Alternatively, if option 1 is not allowed, can we run Unity at site no. 1 and communicate with Callmanager over the wan?

Are any of the designs, 1 or 2, not supported by TAC?

Option 1 is not supported.

You can do option 2. Each Unity port is basically a single IP phone with 1 line appearance. Make sure you have QoS properly configured.
