Feasibility of Jabber and second lines ringing at same time

Before we get too deep into building a Call Center, I have a quick question. The Cisco VoIP system allows multiple desks with second numbers to ring at the same time (allowing any line to do a pickup), but it seems that Jabber Clients (configured with those same second numbers) do not ring. The Jabber Client rings on the assigned desk number just fine, just not on the other numbers/lines. Is there some basic understanding I'm missing or is this capability not able to be implemented?

It can ring a shared line, as long as the system has been setup for it. There are some requirements for the capability, when it was introduced (path headers, device pack/cop).

The call count limits are lower on Jabber CSF type devices than desk phones. If you'd setup a line on multiple desk phones with triggers allowing 8 calls across 25 phones total or something, you couldn't get this many calls into Jabber, it busies out sooner. A hunt group would solve this, which also works well with Jabber with the latest revisions of the solution, though you can't call "from" a hunt pilot number.
