We are looking to provide anaolog lines to a remote location using FXS ports and an Avaya S8700 PBX.
Can we use our CLAN boards as an H.323 gateway and if so how?
Is the only option to have FXS ports on both sides with analog trunks back to the PBX?
Thanks in advance!

Jason, since you already have an Avaya s8700 the easiest thing to do would be to drop an avaya gateway(h.323 or h.248) at the remote site off the s8700"clan". Depending on how many analog lines you are looking for. Avaya has the low cost MultiVoip h.323 gateways and then they have their Gxxx h.248 series gateways which provide greater scalability, resources, apps(G150 or G250).
