Here is the scenario.

Headquarters - PBX-----2600 (4 fxo to fxs connections)

T1

Remote Site - ICS7750----2600

Can I set it up so I can dial the extensions at the Headquarters and vice versa. What type of connection would I have on the Remote side? Currently I have 4 FXO's on the ICS7750 to 4 FXS's on the 2600. Then on the 2600 I have a voip dial peer

(MRP on 7750)

dial-peer voice 100 pots

destination pattern 1..

port 0/0 (fxo port that connects to fxs port on 2600)

dial-peer voice 100 pots

destination pattern 1..

port 0/1 (fxo port that connects to fxs port on 2600)

dial-peer voice 100 pots

destination pattern 1..

port 1/0 (fxo port that connects to fxs port on 2600)

dial-peer voice 100 pots

destination pattern 1..

port 1/1 (fxo port that connects to fxs port on 2600)

(Remote 2600)

dial-peer voice 100 voip

destination pattern 1..

session target ipv4:<ip address of serial interface at headquarters router>

(Headquarters 2600)

dial-peer voice 100 voip

destination pattern 15. (extensions at remote office are in 15. range)

session target ipv4:<ip address of serial interface at remote router>

dial-peer voice 101 pots

destination pattern 1..

port 1/0/0 (fxo connection to PBX)

dial-peer voice 101 pots

destination pattern 1..

port 1/0/1 (fxo connection to PBX)

dial-peer voice 101 pots

destination pattern 1..

port 1/1/0 (fxo connection to PBX)

dial-peer voice 101 pots

destination pattern 1..

port 1/1/1 (fxo connection to PBX)

In CallManager I have the MRP set up as an H323 gateway. I have a route pattern sending 1XX to the MRP. Will this work? If not what can I do to get this working with the current hardware?

Hi,

I was totally confused with the topology in the beginning. I guess because of the Tab/space issue, the lines showing T1 connection are moved to the far left. I am assuming that the T1 connection is between those 2600s.

With this assumption, I want to raise few queries and few here.

1) You have multiple "dial-peer voice 100 pots " commands on MRP which I guess is a typo and for each dial-peer the number has to change.

2) You may need 4 such pots dial-peer on the remote 2600 to point back to MRP with destination pattern matching 15.. (This is for the headquarters to call the remote side phones)

3) And on the MRP you may need a voip dial peer for dest pattern 15. pointing to your call manager (This is also for the same purpose).

4) You may want to enable PLAR connections between PBX and HQ 2600 and also between Remote site MRP and Remote 2600.

5) Another important question that I wanted to ask here is why are you terminating the T1 line onto a 2600 when you can do it directly on the MRP?
