Would like to confirm the below two dial-peers behavior.
dial-peer voice X pots
destination-pattern 9T
port 0/0/0:23
dial-peer voice X pots
destination-pattern 9.T
port 0/0/0:23
With 9T, the prefix 9 will be attached or dropped when it is sent out to PSTN?
With 9.T, the prefix 9 will definitely be dropped before sending out to PSTN.
Thank you in advance.

1. 9T the 9 will definately be dropped. With POTS dial peers, any explicitly matched digit (in this case 9) gets dropped.
2. 9.T is not a good destination-pattern to use, 9T is preferred. The 9.T destination-pattern does not work like the 9.T in CallManager. In IOS the "." is just wild card, not a delineator like it is in CallManager.

Thanks Adignan.
So what you are saying is both dial-peers will drop the 9 before it is sent to PSTN? But option 1 is preferred. Thanks again.
