Hi - quick question: We're in the UK and have had a request for users that have hearing aids which are Hearing-loop compatible. Anyone know of an IP phones which are hearing-loop compatible? 3rd party devices maybe?
Thanks,
Stuart

We had a similar problem with a meber of staff that has partial hearing loss. On the traditional PABX he had a phone that he could increase the volume over and above what a standard phone could. We were also able to find devices that improved hearing in certain frquency ranges.
When we moved to CCM we had a problem. One option was to setup the old phone on an ATA device, but this was not pratical. We eventually found a device that plaugs inline with the handset cable, and works with 7910, 7940, 7960 and 7970 (would assume it works with the 7902, 7905 and 7912 als but we don't have any of these so have not tested).. The device plugs in the back of the IP Phone into the handset socket, and the handset plugs into the device.
We search the net looking for solutions, but didn't find anything in the UK. Finally we checked out the RNID website and they have an online shop where you can get various devices (http://www.shop.rnid.org.uk/store_Telecommunications_3.html)
