how do i setup intercom to work on several phones

i have a store with 10 phones with multiple lines..i want to be able to use intercom to broadcast through the speakers of all the phones in the store.is this possible and how do i do that?

It is not possible without custom service. There are companies out there that offer such solutions, for example www.berbee.com.

Actually, you can use the CiscoIPPhoneServices SDK to create a Service on the initiating phone using the push2phone.asp to open a unicast or multicast RTP stream to the phone. I have created one that works pretty good for our uses. Lookup Cisco IP Phone Services SDK to get the SDK (its free), read it, and then lookup in the forums push2phone to get an idea on how to use it. You can use push2phone.asp for many things.

You could activate an extension to use it as a page. When you dial the extension you could pass a page that everybody will here through the phone speakers.

Keep in mind that a shared line cannot be used with auto answer if you decide to go down the route of creating lines across the phones.
