How to add pauses in fast dials, personal directory, or outlook contacts?

Problem: user wants to auto dial a number that includes an extension, needs to add a "pause" symbol between the 10-digit dialed # and the 3 digit extension. Cannot find a way to do this either from fast dials, personal directory, or using the Outlook Contact CTI integration. ideas?

Using CallManager 3.3(3) and Unity 4.0(2)

I don't think CCM supports pauses in speed dials. I'm hoping this will be a feature made available in 4.0
