how to remove the mgcpapp service and pots dial peer from fxo port.

Under this dial peer 1023 Mgcpapp services are running on the fxo port 0/2/3, I would like to remove MGCPAPP services as well as the dial peer 1023 .

Configuration as below :

dial-peer voice 1023 pots

service mgcpapp

port 0/2/3

For example if I want to deletes the POTS dial-peer 1023 it will be deleted the Service mgcpapp automatically from the dial-peer or we need to deleted the mgcpapp service separetely .

no dial-peer voice 1023 pots

This command will delete only this the dial-peer 1023 as well as the service mgcpapp. or else intentional we need to delete service mgcpapp form this dial-peer 1023 port .by the command

no service mgcpapp

port 0/2/3

you.

If I understand you question, you are trying to remove the

"dial peer 1023"

Try Removing the following in sequence:

* delete the port

* delete the Pots dial-peer

* save running-config

* reboot gateway

Note:  If this is a production gateway, only due this during a scheduled outage window.
