My company has a point-to-point T-1 line that is connected by two cisco 1721 rounter, that connect our two offices. we have two lotus domino server that talk to each other & can route internet traffic depending if one link goes down.We had someone set it, but i'm trying to work throught this part. Does cisco have any software or how can you find out the bandwith that is being used. i know that it will vary, but havn't been able to find a solution. any ideas or thoughts please

You can see a snapshot by logging into one router and doing a show interface s0 command. You will see a 5 minute average input and output rate per second. If you do this for a few minutes during the busy time of the day you will get at least some idea of bandwidth being used.
Better than that is a tool to continuously monitor and graph the rate. I like to use MRTG, which is free, and gives you a nice Web page with historical trending. It is fairly straightforward to set up.
