Import data in Global Directory

Dear all,

I have a CCM 3.1 connected via QSIG (through a router) to an Alcatel 4400 PBX. The Alcatel PBX has a lot of user extensions (hundreds). I would like to import all these Alcatel user names and extension numbers in my Global Directory so that I can access them via the Directory button on my 7940 phones. From the Alcatel PBX I can get a text or Excell file with all the user extension numbers and names. How can I import this file in my Global Directory (DC Directory I assume).

I appreciate any help for this.

Using the Bulk Admin Tool BAT for this purpose

yes, but can I just use BAT to insert ONLY users in Global Directory, and not phones? I think with BAT you insert phone devices only?
