Information regarding CM License.

Hi All,

I just want to know if we have purchased CM software is there any limit to install Publisher/subscribers.

We are using Cisco Callmanager 3.3.3. Currently we have only 1 Publisher installed.

I want to know, do we need separate license to install CM subscriber?

Could anyone also forward me a supporting document for the same (if any)?

Hello Amit,

All the CCM servers have to be licensed. The subscriber servers can be configured as given below:

Make sure that the subscriber server has an IP connectivity to the publisher.

Hi Raj,

Thanks for the prompt reply BUT i want to know what kind of license are you talking about? i dont think that there is any license file required to install CM like IPCC or Unity VM Ports license.

My question is if we have purchased CM software once do we need to pay cisco for the subscriber box as well OR we are free to install as many servers as we want. As far as i know cisco CM license is based on number of users/devices not the servers.

The install doc also doesn't specifically say about installing license or anything like this.

Correctme if i am wrong.
