The Intecom E14 Millennium Serial Integration manual reads:
Step 5 Configure the T1 cards to be connected to Cisco Unity for the following:
Internal clocking
B8ZE line coding
D4 framing
Our PBX guys are asking if the "B8ZE" is a typo? BEZs and B8Zs are what they are aware of.

This is a typo. The integration guide should state B8ZS. I've already alerted our Tech Pubs. Thanks for the catch.

As it turns out. The Dialogic card use AMI line coding and not B8ZS. The Intecom switch T1 should be programmed to use AMI line coding.
If you use the Dialogic 240PCI/T1 and use B8ZS line coding you will have port lockups which eventually bring down the whole T1.
