I have issue betweeen cisco and Avaya integration. I make call using g711 both ways. I can make call using g729 from Avaya to Cisco IP phone but not from Cisco to Avaya. It rings on Avaya IP phone but no AUdio setup. I can not hear any audio. We are running Call manager 4.1(3). I have used Fast start in call manager gateway

Specifically what hardware and software is on the Avaya side ? 8700 with g650, s8300 with g700????
also what version firmware is medpro and clan?
Also, on the cisco call manager you specify codec selection for outbound h.323 faststart. The default is G.711.
