I wish to transport VoIP via a satellite link. I am concerned about bandwidth consumption in idle and active states and also clock rate configuration for Wan interface. The aggregate link rate is 256Kbps. When configuring clock rate do i refer to aggregate or to a reserved limit ? or is this figure purely for accurate diagnosis of statistical data ?
What is the idle bandwidth consumed per E&M trunk ?
What amount of bandwidth is consumed when in active call condition ?
If anyone can also advise on FXO/FXS consumption states that would be very welcome.
