IP Phone 78XX, IP Phone 88XX, MX Series, dan DX Series on CUCM 9.1.1.20000-5

Hi Everyone,

I have new Cisco Collaboration environment (IP Phone 78XX, IP Phone 88XX, MX Series, dan DX Series) in my office,

my CUCM currently in version 9.1.1.20000-5.

When I try to add Phone Device in my CUCM I realize that there is no device profiles for those new collaboration client (IP Phone 78XX, IP Phone 88XX, MX Series, dan DX Series),

I've try to upload new device package for those new collaboration client but failed.

Please advise.

regards,

Even if what you were trying was successful, that is ONLY the FW, you DO NOT add devices just by installing the FW.

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/compat/matrix/CMDP_BK_CCBDA741_00_cucm-device-package-compatibility-matrix/CMDP_BK_CCBDA741_00_cucm-device-package-compatibility-matrix_chapter_00.html

Upgrade to 9.1(2), THEN, install the latest DevPack

The error you received is most likely because you haven't installed ciscocm.version3-keys COP and it's failing to validate the file

Hi Ovindo,

You need to download the upgrade patch from Cisco site and do the upgrade from OS Administration using Software Upgrades ---Sofwtare Intallation/Upgrade.After u download patch , do verify the checksum.

https://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=284510097&flowid=45900&softwareid=282074295&release=9.1(2)SU3&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=&reltype=latest

download the latest upgrade patch 9.1(2)Su3

During the Software installation, you would get message to verify MD5 checksum against Cisco Systems Web Site and at bottom, would get two Switch options

Switch to new Version after Upgrade

Do Not Switch to new version after upgrade.

If u select second option, then u can do switch using CLI utils system switch version

Hi Jaime,

Where I can find the upgrade guide for that minor upgrade from 9.1.1 to 9.1.2?

I've search that guide but all that I found just guide for upgrade from pre 9.x to 9.x or 10.x.

And also which file that I should download to upgrade from 9.1.1 to 9.1.2?
