Hello everyone,
Here is a problem I am having I have 7960 IP phones and Call manager 3.2.1. Now the problem I am having is that I am hearing echo in the headset. I will say smoething an I can hear it in the headset being repeated. Its almost like having a cell phone call is there anyway to fix this.
Thanks

Is this between 7960 phones or to the PSTN. I too am getting intermittent echo between 7960 phones (both hangin off a Cat4000 switch) under CM 3.1.2c.
Anyone have ideas where to look?

There is a large difference between getting echo when calling the pstn and getting echo between IP phones locally. If it is happening locally, please open a TAC case-it should never happen. For echo on calls to the pstn, see this doc:
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/cisintwk/intsolns/voipsol/ea_isd.htm
if you are using a 6608 blade see here:

Hello,
If you see the link:
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/c_callmg/3_2/rel_note/321cmrl.htm
there is a caveat about this problem:
CSCdv05279: Echo occurs on handset calls if volume is set to over 75 percent.
When the volume is set to 75 percent or higher, an echo occurs on handset calls from one Cisco IP phone to another.
Workaround: Reduce the volume to less than 75 percent.
Regards
