Hi,<br><br>Everytime the CCM boxes are rebooted or a new phone is installed the phone resets to the default full-volume for the ringer. Is there any way to reset this default ringer volume to a lower value?<br><br>Also, on the same subject, the default dial-tone on the phones is a bit loud also. Is there any way to lower the default dail-tone volume?<br><br>Thanks in advance!<br><br><br><br><br>

This forum is geared towards Unity Voice Mail. The problem you describe is a CallManager issue. There might be some one out there that can provide an answer, but you might want to check out this forum...

To keep the volume settings in the IP Phone do the following.
1. From a 7960 ip phone for example press settings-->ring type--> scroll down the screen and find the ring tone that you want press--> ok--> save. It is important to press the save key otherwise the effort is lost. This will save all volume setting. Handset, ringer, speaker, ect...
