Hello,

please could you advise what I must verify precisely in the callmanger when I meet the following problem:

I can call but I cannot receive the call at all

I can receive but I am not able to call toward outsides

please could you show me how to solve this problem

otherwise could you show me the siteweb that includes this kind of problems and solutions

1. determine what kind of calls are not going thru. is it ip phone to ip phone? or is it ip phone to gw?

2. Next determine when the call drops. Is it during call set up? Or after that? Or does the call not drop (but you have no audio)?

3. Then, look at GW logs and CCM logs. for GW, if you are using MGCP, debug MGCP packet is the best. For H323, you will need to use

debug voice ccapi inout

debug h225 asn1

debug cch323 session (verbose debugs)

in the ccm, set up detailed ccm trace, look at the traces. Find out if the CCM places the call to the GW at all? is it the GW that drops the call or CCM. if you are using PRI, find out what debugs isdn q931 tells you.
