We currently have everyone using a desk phone and jabber, but most people here are using jabber to make their calls. We would like to eliminate the desk phones and have the users use jabber for all calling purposes. Is that possible? Right now it seems jabber's phone mode wont function without a hard phone.
Yes, you can use Jabber independently of any HW phone (with phone only mode or full UC), or you can use both, and deskphone control.
