Latest version of CM and Unity on same MCS server

Hello,

I know Cisco don't recommend this but I was curios as to whether the latest version of CM and Unity will run on the same MCS server for up to 70 users max?? If so, are there any design "issues" i should know about?

Also, I noticed that CM uses SQL version 7 and Unity uses SQL 2000. Is there a supported upgrade path to upgrade the SQL server 7 on the CM to SQL 2000?? Will an upgrade actually cause problems with CM ??

Id there plans to Ship CM 3.3 with SQL 2000 support by default.

Any help is much appreciated.

I do not know if that is possible but I know that you can have both SQL server 7 and SQL server 2000 running on the same server at the same time as multiple instances.

But then you are assuming that either CCM or Unity can be pointed to a non-default instance.

Just sounds like a whole load of trouble to me, but I guess an interesting if one has spare lab time.
