Long distance access code

I am trying to forward an IP phone to a long distance number. The problem is that an access code is required after dialing the number. Is there any way to insert a pause after the dial string and then pulse the code? Thanks

If the dial pattern is configured with number that is being dialed then comma "," can be inserted (each , = 2 sec pause) into the destination pattern before the pin number
