For MCS-7845H-2.4-ECS2, there is only 1GB RAM. If I want to upgrade to 2GB RAM, is part no. MEM-7845H-2.4-1GB the correct part to be order?

If I order these 2 items together, will the extra 1GB RAM be installed before shipment or I need to install it myself?

Yes, that is the correct part number for extra memory. Extra memory will arrive separate (possibly even in separate shipment) and you will need to install it.
