mgcp gateway will send command to port 2727?

Hi,

Customer wants to install PIX firewall in front of CallManager.

As per the documentation of PIX administration guide at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/secursw/ps2120/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a008017278b.html#wp1087302,

for the mgcp application we need to add following two commands for inspection:

fixup protocol mgcp 2427

fixup protocol mgcp 2727

2427 is a wellkown port, however on sniffer, we could not find the port 2727 between callmanager and mgcp voice gateway.

Is there anything wrong?

2727 is used by Gateways to send commands.

You can also have a look at the list od prts used by CallManager.
