I have a customer who would like to know if you can adjust the microphone sensitivity on the 7936s. I have read threw the 7936 administration documentation and I searched the forums. I havent found anything that I can adjust. I was just wondering if anyone had found a way to adjust this. Thanks!

Currently there is no way to adjust the microphone sensitivity in 7936. Our meetings contain 20+ people and shuffling papers and breathing too is picked up.

We had this problem too. The fix recommended by Cisco was to disable VAD (voice activation detection). It made a world of difference. Previously we were having voice quality issues on these phones because the detection was too sensitive. It was chopping out the audio received from the remote side.
