Microsoft Patches and Hotfixes for Unity. How do you know what is approved?

I have joined the CCM security email list to be notified of APPROVED Microsoft Patches for Call Managers but I am unable to find information of what patches & hotfixes are supported by Cisco to use on Unity boxes. Can anyone help out. Specificaly for all the new MS0X-XXX bug patches.

Thanks all.

Hello -

Here is Cisco's compatibility reference for Unity http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/prod_pre_installation_guide09186a00801245c3.html#30827

There is another forum you should visit "Unified Communications" which specifically focuses on Unity. For example, Cisco posted a warning on this forum to apply the MS03-039 security patch on Unity. Unity does not currently require a Cisco version of a security patch as does the CallManager or IPCC applications. You can download the security fix from Microsoft and apply that to your Unity server. I do, however, always check with the forum before applying a hotfix to Unity, just to see if anyone has experienced problems.

Regards, Ginger
