Hello all,
there is a problem in transmitting modem over ip and I need your advise to overcome it.
Our company provides VoIP for our customers using AS5300 and all seemed fine until one of our clients wanted to use VoIP for transmiting modem. Inspite of using uncompressed g.711 codecs the modems fail to connect or have poor performance.
We noticed that there is an impact of echo cancellers on modem connections but we cannot disable it because right after that other customers became to complaint on echo.
Now we need to use our PRI both for voice over ip and modem over ip connections but we can't just disable echo cancellers because of the mentioned above. Please help to reach this goal. Have you encountered with this situation?
The situation is quite urgent and we really need your help!
