When a person calls into our office and selects an option from the Auto Attendant, the person calling will hear the ringing of the transfer to the extention that they are being transferred to. How can I make this were no matter if its a transfer or a hold, they will hear the Music on Hold instead? Using a Callmanager 3.3(2) server. Thanks in advance.

Step 1 Open Cisco CallManager Administration.
Step 2 Choose Service > Music On Hold.
The Music On Hold (MOH) Audio Source Configuration window displays. The MOH Audio Source: New (New) title displays with a Status: Ready indicator.
Step 3 Choose
Step 4 Enter the appropriate settings as described in Table 27-2. At any point, click the Cancel Changes button to clear all input if necessary.
Step 5 Click Insert.
The Status changes from Ready to Insert completed. The MOH Audio Sources list now includes the new Music On Hold audio source.

Hi,
When you put someone on hold by pressing HOLD softkey it's User Hold and when you transfer a call then music played is "Network Hold". So use the MOH accordingly.
(I replied the same earlier but i guess its not reflecting in the forum) :-)
Hope this will help you.
