I have 2 questions regarding transcoder in ccm4.0(1). A 2600 with nm-hdv is configured as follows:
sccp local FastEthernet0/0
sccp
sccp ccm 192.168.20.85 priority 1
!
dspfarm transcoder maximum sessions 24
dspfarm confbridge maximum sessions 6
dspfarm
!
show sccp is showing me ACTIVE state for the transcoder, but it is showing me NOT_REG_WITH_CCM for the confbridge. any idea?
next, i created an h225 trunk (with mtp required ticked on) using another cisco 2600 gatekeeper. A vg200-fxs is registered on this gatekeeper to call sccp phones. when a call is made from the vg200-fxs to 79xx phone (and vice versa), call history voice brief command on vg200-fxs is showing me "no dsp resources" error. i am in the imprssion that the ccm is smart enough to communicate with MRM to handle the media request. anybody know why?
thanks in advance.

Hello,
Try to do the following
voice-card 1
dsp services dspfarm
no sccp
sccp
Also when you add the transcoder in callmanager add as IOS transcoder and the device name should be MTP
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Radhika

i found what's wrong with my configuration. i mistyped the conf bridge name to cnfxxxxxxxxxxxx instead of cfbxxxxxxxxxxxx.
