No ringback on ATA186

I get no rinback tone when calling to the PSTN from Analog Phone connected to ATA186. I am using CallManager 3.1(1) and Catalyst 6500 (MGCP) with E1. I get ringback tone when I call an IP phone. The ATA186 is configured as a H.323 client on the CCM and the Gateway configuration on the ATA186 points to my CCM.

Any idea ?

Just found the solution. Had to configur the ringback parameter on the ATA for Europe instead of US.

RingBackTone: 1,30959,0,2392,0,0,8000,40000,0

You could successfully use the ATA186 with CallManager? WOW!

There isn't much documentation about this on CCO. Could you run the ATA186 with CallManager only and without a gatekeeper?

Hi,

there are no problems to use ATA186 with CallManager, in this configuration you need to add all ATA186 devices as H.323 phones or as I know if you`ld like you can use them as H.323 Voice GW. And you need to configure ATA186 to point to Call Manager. In such kind of design there is no need in GK. But as I also know such configurations are not yet supported by Cisco, but it works in our VoIP networks :)
