we had a site go over to SRST the other day, and the IP phones worked ok, but when the link came back up, a number of phones did not switch back to the CallManager, stayed in fall back mode, ( they were pingable from the callmanagers)but the only way to fix this was to power off/on the IP Phones,
Anybody seen this before or know the cause.

What version of CallManger do you have?
Depending on that answer you may be running into this:
CSCdy48997 - Phones fail to register with CM when service is restored to CM
Problem Description: Phones fail to register to their primary CallManager when
service is restored to that CallManager. The phones remain in SRST mode.
Condition: Unknown, this problem does not happen to all phones at the same
remote location. Example of a branch with 10 phones, 1 phone may remain in SRST
mode. This problem is seen with phone load 408.
Workaround: Reset the phone. Reset the switch. Remove the call-manager-fallback
config from the router then readd the command.

looked up that bug,
the phones are 7940 and the CCM release is 3.1(4b), I don't know what the phone load is , as i do not have acces to the site at the moment.
