Patch Cisco Custom ESXi version

Hi,

I am running on ESXi 6.0u3 cisco custom version. After the security scan, it is suggested to apply patch on the ESXi.

I would like to know if I can apply patch on Cisco Custom Esxi version? Does anyone try that before? Is there concern on the action?
