Phones Service Emulator doesn't support Cookies & Sessions?

I recently found that the PSE.exe does not support cookies & sessions (using ASP). Either cookies or sessions variables will be lost when moving to another page.

Is it the problem of PSE.exe or the problem of the REAL Cisco IP Phone?

Or how to get it work in PSE?

Thanks

There are a few phone loads that are problematic wrt cookies and sessions, but generally those things do work. They even work using the Call Manager simulator.

Instead of using PSE.exe, why not try the IP Communicator? it's also a software solution, but it's a real phone (though imho not as reliable as a physical phone).

Hi,

Where can I get IP Communicator?

How much does it cost?

thx

Hmm.. I presume that since you're working on this you have some commercial relationship with cisco. Basically you need a CCO Account, then get your Cisco product manager of your company to add your account to the company profile to give you access to software that business partners can download. That way, you get to download Call Manager patches, request downloads of full Call Manager releases, and you also get to download softphones like the IP Communicator.

I know the price of the IP Communicator, but the price list is flagged as confidential so I'm not supposed to mention prices. But ask your Cisco PM. And to my understanding the software is free, but you need the license on the Call Manager to use it.

thanks for your reply.
