Problem /w expansion module 7914

Hi,

How do you bring up the 7914 expansion module combined with a 7960 phone?

I downgraded/upgraded the 7960 and the only thing it does is showing lines. I configured the 7914 as module 1 on the 7960 Phone config page; including entering the file names of the images to load for 7960 & 7914.

Going to the expansion module statistics on the 7960 I can see:

Expansion module 1

Link state: Connected

and only retransmits.. (A TX Retransmit).

How do I enable a speeddial on this module? (I already went towards the User Options and configured several speeddial buttons -> after clicking update, 7960 & 7914 reset but nothing appears).

The only thing I can do at this moment is adapting the contrast of the 7914 through the 7960... :-(

You will need to go to Device>>>Device Settings>>>Phone Button Template and make a new template for your configuration. I'm on CCM 4.0 and have these choices for each button: Service URL, Privacy, Lines, Speed Dial. Then assign that phone button template to the phone.
