Question from a non MCSE about permissions when installing Unity/Exchange

I get this message when running the message store config wizard. Exchange is offbox and Unity version is 4.0(3)

"You do not have sufficient rights to verify specified users password"

This happens at the point where I enter the password for the directory services account.

Please help!!

Are you logged into the box as the same account you configured as the install account in the permissions wizard at the start of the installation (i.e. before the reboot)? It sounds like the account you're logged in as doesn't have the rights the permissions wizard would have assigned to it.

If you get in a jam you can just be sure you're logged in as an account that's a member of the domain admins group when you run this which will ensure you have the rights to check PW settings.
