Hi there!
We have a C3825 as voice gateway with 1 E1 connected to PSTN runninng R2 signaling. When you dial from PSTN toward IPTel Solution, the time that pass between the last tone and the one ring is 13 sec. are there any command to Voice gateway or timer onto the Unifed Communication Manager ver 6.0 to improve this time.
thnks

Are you passing ani? That could be taking most of the time, try removing it from the ds0-group command.
Also ask your telco if they support non-compelled. With compelled, router must wait for acknowledge of each tone from the switch. And since you're there, ask if they support PRI.

Hello,
In some cases, we can tune certain parameters to speed up the call setup by specifying the minimum and maximum digits expected under the cas-custom, and thereby bypassing a three second timeout mechanism.
The following commands might help:
Cas-custom
dnis-digits min X max Y
Y should be the number of digits you receive from the carrier.
