Reuse TRC6 Remote Control

Is there a way to reset the remote to work with another codec, or should it just work?

The remote is infrared so there is no reset or pairing function. The other SX10 does not have a Touch 10 panel connected to it, correct?

Hi, thank you for your answer, there's no table connected, so I've checked the batteries again and it was that, all the ones I had at hand were exhausted.
