RightFax and CCM and MGCP

Hi,

Having issues getting FAX calls to work with RightFax FAX server.

Have a central site with Call Manager 3.3(3)sr4a and a 3725 Gateway. MGCP controlled. T1 PRI to the RightFax server. Gateway configuration is for network side, ineternal clock PRI 4ESS to RightFax server.

We have 4 other sites also, data T1s to those sites. Those sites also have their own 3725 and each has a T1 PRI which is MGCP controlled.

A FAX call comes into DID number at remote site, and goes over IP network to head end then to the RightFax server. This works fine for 3 out of the 4 sites. The other site the calls get to RightFax but get stuck with modem train up noise.

Were configured for modem passthrough with MGCP on all of them but have tried fax-relay also and still same thing.

mgcp fax t38 inhibit

no ccm-manager fax protocol cisco

Anyone have any ideas or tried RightFax with MGCP before?

Further info,

In the 'show call voice act brief' output on one of the call legs of failed call I am always getting following line:

media inactive detected:n media contrl rcvd: n/a

On other end , the gateway that connects to RightFAX this reports MODEMPASS

so like there is a issue with modempassthough on this one router and the one site having this issue.

I am also seeing this for calling party info in debug isdn q931 output:

Calling Party Number i = 0x00A3,

show_data: bad length 0 size 8
