I have a customer that is requesting that I only allow one ring tone. Is there an easy way to accomplish this? I am running CCM 3.1(3a).

Chirp 1 and Chirp 2 are built into the phone, but you can edit the "ringlist.xml" file in C:\Program Files\Cisco\TFTPPath to contain as many or as few rings as you like, or remove it entirely. Be sure to do so on all CallManagers in your cluster if you have more than one.

If you need restrict the number of ring tones, delete ring files in call manager tftp.
c:\program files\cisco\tftppath\
