Hi all,
Here is a problem with VoIP call. Making a call through IP on phone number that is busy I hear ringing instead of busytone. I was told that it's a problem in configuration between AS5300 and telephony provider (there are different ways in sendind busy tone). Does anybody know how to properly configure AS5300 to send out busytone?
Thanks,
Mike

Maybe you are observing the "glare" situation here. It seems there are some known bugs on some specific IOS version like 12.2(2)XA on AS5300. You can find more info on it from http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/sw/iosswrel/ps3859/prod_release_note09186a00800877e0.html
Check this bug CSCdu59975. I am not sure which version you are using but maybe it is worth checking this.

If you are using ISDN, it is possible you are receiving a progress message that is telling the router to cut through the audio path to hear the inband messages or tone. Have a look at the following links that explain this in detail -
