I have a remote site router ( 3725 ) try to setup

sccp connection to the local callmanager. The remote

source IP address should be the FastEthernet0/1.

I put the config:

sccp local FastEthernet0/1

But as put the command

sh tcp brief

It always using serial0/0.1 IP address as the source

IP address. It never takes FastEthernet0/1 as the source IP address. So I can not setup the sccp connection between the callmanager to the remote

3725 router.

Can anybody help me on this urgent issue ?

If you do "show sccp", what ip address does it show for the "gateway ip address" ?

Do a "no sccp" and then "sccp" and see if it helps!

SCCP works with the MAC address.

With this command you tell the router that it should try to register with the CCM using the MAC address for the interface fas0/1.

What IP address it uses is of no interest at this point.

In the CCM you have to enter the MAC of the router if you want to have a proper registration (for example as confbridge).
