showing username in ip phone

Can someone explain how can i display the username in the ip phone screen not the display caller id which gets displayed only when u dial but the Username of the person on the screen even when the phone is idle

You need to use the "LABEL" parameter on the line of the profile of the logged in person.

When you are configuring the Directory Number for a person there are two fields on the page; one is called "Display (Internal Caller ID)" and the other is called "Line Text Label". The "Display" field is the one that shows up on the phone of the person CALLED while "Line Text Label" shows up on the a person's own IP Phone when it is idle.
