I'm using a SIP trunk to connect CCM with a SIP proxy server (this eliminated the need for a gateway). The configuration of the SIP trunk is pretty straight forward.

Larry ,

Can you please tell us the Barnd and Model of the SIP Proxy you are using. I have tried couple of SIP Proxy Servers and none of them contained any feature to configure a Trunk to other Gateway. They Only used to Exchange Inetrnal Calls between the Registereed Phone but can not getthem out to the PSTN.
