Softphone in Call Centres

Does anyone have experience - good or bad, of using the v1.2.1 Softphone in a Call Centre environment. We tried the first release and found it a bit suspect.

What software r you using to run the Call Centre ? IPCC? ICD or a 3rd Party?.
